The Fresno Fly Fishers for Conservation may be small in some ways, but it has had a huge impact on conservation in this area. By partnering with other entities, our influence has been magnified to be far greater than our numbers would suggest. Some examples are the Big Meadows Project, and improvements of the L sower Kings River.

Perhaps the most important factor in conservation and education is in getting people out into nature where they can see firsthand just what is available and what needs protecting in the local area. We sponsor a series of outings that are open to the public. Anyone who wonders just what resources exist in this area should click on the outings link in this website and, perhaps, join us one day.

The club supports catch and release of wild trout, minimum impact camping and hiking, and generally leaving the areas we visit better than they were before we got there.
