Upcoming meetings:

July 16th  Jim Cox of the Western Rivers Conservancy on “Bringing Rivers to Your Home”. This will be a ZOOM online meeting.

ZOOM Meeting is at 7PM. We will send out a ZOOM link for that specific meeting, as we get closer to the actual date.

You can just listen to the presentation and watch the slide show.  Your picture does not show during the meeting. If you choose, you can be visible but its not required.

The presentation will focus on how WRC purchases riverlands across the West to protect and conserve vital river ecosystems and to provide compatible public access. Included in the program is stunning photography and updates on many of WRC’s current projects with a focus on outstanding fly fishing streams in California, Oregon and Idaho.

Jim joined Western Rivers Conservancy as Director of Donor Relations in 2011. He has spent more than 30 working professionally in the nonprofit sector. Jim is a past steering committee co-chair of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, and is an active member of the Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable. He is a member of numerous conservation organizations including Trout Unlimited, Flyfishers Club of Oregon, FFI, the Native Fish Society, and The Freshwater Trust among others. Jim holds a Bachelor of Theatre Degree from Willamette University. Jim lives in Portland, Oregon. In his free time, you can find him fly fishing for trout and steelhead on the wild rivers of the West.
